The Wide Sky Story

Hi, I'm Sara O'Brien. Wide Sky has been my creative side hustle since 2014. My Mom (pictured with me below) and Dad taught me the definition of hard work through their labors of love, nursing and carpentry.

In 2022, I took Wide Sky full time! Now in addition to designing and printing my own shirts, I'm helping local clients all over the Tampa Bay area with theirs! Click the banner at the top of this page to inquire about Wide Sky screen printing your next tshirt job. Or better yet, stop by my print space:

Frequently Asked Questions:

Are your shirts available in any stores?

Yes, Wide Sky designs can be found at Zazoo'd which is located at 531 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg as well as The St. Pete Store at 100 2nd Avenue North in St Petersburg. Also, our designs are available at the Old Southeast Market at 1700 3rd Street South.  In addition to our website we also have an Etsy Store so look us up under Wide Sky Life. We also pop up in many local local markets and festivals from time to time. Check in with our facebook and instagram pages to find out where we'll be!

What kind of shirts do you print on?

We print on all sorts of brands and styles. You can always email us at info@wideskylife.com to ask about a specific design. We'll be more than happy to provide all of the info you need to make an informed decision on which awesome tee you'd like to call your own.

What size should I get?

This is always a tough question. The unisex crewneck shirts are rather fitted. So if you're a guy who likes a snug fit, go with your normal size. If you like to move around a bit more, we suggest going one size up. If you're in doubt at all, go for the bigger one. Women on the other hand, may prefer to order one size smaller. But after all is said and done, go with your gut.

What are the washing instructions?

Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. 100% cotton shirts are not pre-shrunk and will shrink just a bit in the dryer. The shirts with polyester however, will not shrink no matter how much you put them in the dryer.

Do you do custom shirts?

Well that depends. We are open to possible custom opportunities, but we'd prefer to discuss your ideas with you at first, (and to see if they're cool enough to peak our interest!) Then we'll know if we can fulfill your needs! Contact us at info@wideskylife.com.
